Current Research Interests  
Small-scale industries, Technology, Employment, Trade and Policy aspects of Industry, and Institutional and Political Economy of Reforms and Economic Performance of India.

Along with the research, I have been giving lectures in the area of Industrial Economics and Quantitative Methods to Indian Economic Service (IES) Probationers, and other training programs conducted by the Institute from time to time. For the past two years organising a training programme on “Quantitative Techniques in Economics” for In-service Indian Statistical
Service (ISS) officers.
