The talk will be in three parts. The first will present some of the leading indicators of global warming and climate change over the recent past and what to expect in the decades ahead (drawing on just published three IPCC reports). The second part will turn to what has been happening on climate change in India, what to expect in the coming decades, and options ahead, especially in the context of still fractious global climate agreements. The third part will turn to the role that climate finance plays, misalignments in finance and options to address them, both in the global financial system and in the possibilities for India
