Abstract:-
This lecture focuses on the trinity of data, research, and policy, which is critical for improving evidence-based decision making in population and health-related concerns. The strength of NFHS-IIPS rests in its ongoing innovation in data quality; while others are busy gathering dots, we have already linked those dots and are supplying rich data for demographic and health research. However, for successful policies, NITI Aayog is in the forefront of implementing fresh techniques to improve the health-related quality of life in the country. Researchers and other stakeholders should be well-versed on new innovations and techniques for improving data quality in large-scale surveys, particularly NFHS with evidence on nutrition data in India. It also focuses on the links between ICDS and malnutrition among Indian children.
