Dr. Prashant Verma is an Associate Professor at the AERU, Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), New Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and has over 11 years of experience spanning academia, industry, and research. Prior to joining IEG, he served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Allahabad, worked as a Statistician (Specialist Officer) at the State Bank of India (SBI), Mumbai, and as a Business Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Bengaluru.

His research interests include statistical modeling, agriculture statistics, machine learning, and healthcare analytics. He has published extensively in leading international journals and is the author of the book Practical Data Analytics for BFSI. Dr. Verma has received various fellowships and travel awards from UGC, ICMR, ICSSR, DST-SERB, and MoSPI. He serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals published by Springer Nature, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and BMC.
